Straight talk.
No surprises.
Every shop starts with fourteen days free. We take a card at sign-up so the shop is ready to keep running when the trial ends, and nothing is charged until then. Unlimited users on every plan, because a tech should never have to share a login.

Founding shops: sign up during launch and your price never goes up while you stay. Prices in USD. Sales tax where applicable.
The fine print, in big type.
What happens the day my trial ends?
The shop stops taking new work until someone buys a plan. Nothing is deleted that day. We hold your shop for 90 days, read-only, so if you come back a week later every repair order, customer and vehicle is exactly where you left it. After 90 days we may delete it for good.
Does it actually get better the longer I use it?
Yes, and this is the whole idea. AutoDX diagnoses from your shop’s history, not a generic database. Every repair you close makes the next diagnosis sharper, and Comeback Radar only has something to say once it has enough finished jobs to compare. A shop three months in gets noticeably better answers than one on day two, because it built the thing the answers come from.
Is there a contract?
No. Month to month. Cancel from the billing page and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Do you charge per user or per bay?
No. One price per shop, unlimited users, unlimited repair orders. Put every advisor and tech on it.
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
Yes. We take a card when you register, and nothing is charged during the fourteen day trial. It is there so your shop keeps running the moment the trial ends instead of locking on the busiest morning of the month, and so we are not storing a shop's customer and vehicle records for an account that can never be billed. Cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged at all.
Do I need my own AI key?
For AI diagnostics, yes, and it can cost you nothing. The AI settings walk you through getting a free Google Gemini key in a couple of minutes, with a Test button to confirm it works. A Claude or ChatGPT key works too, billed by that company. We charge nothing for AI. Explain to customer, the phone-call intake and the job board all work without a key.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It stays yours and it stays put for 90 days, read-only, so coming back is painless. Taking it out as a file is a paid feature: if you have paid for a plan you can export your records, and if you only ever used the free trial you buy a plan first. We never sell your data, and we never train AI models on your repair history. See the terms.
What if the AI gets it wrong?
Then your technician overrules it, which is how it is meant to work. AutoDX suggests and shows you the past jobs it reasoned from, so you can check its work instead of taking it on faith. It is not a replacement for a qualified tech or your labor guide.
I already use TekMetric or Shop-Ware.
Keep it. AutoDX imports repair orders, customers and appointments and tags each record with where it came from. TekMetric is live today; the same seam takes the next vendor.
Where does it run?
AutoDX is hosted by SentinelGrid in the United States. Your shop is isolated in its own database, not a shared table. See the privacy policy for what goes where.
